Remember the days when tag clouds first appeared on blogs? Everyone was so amazed at amount of functionality of this set of words in the form of a cloud gave. This little word cloud also have the visitor a huge amount of information at a single glance. It told us which were the most/least popular topics, gave us an overview of the topics covered by the blog, allowed us to filter & navigate content on the site by clicking on a tag, etc.

Enter Wordle. Here is a visualization of the current state of content on the Cloudaware Blog.

Seems like we love Dopplr.. and we actually do! :)

Now anyone can now create these word clouds from text that they input (you just cant navigate with it). Here is what the site says about itself:

Wordle is a toy for generating “word clouds” from text that you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text. You can tweak your clouds with different fonts, layouts, and color schemes. The images you create with Wordle are yours to use however you like. You can print them out, or save them to the Wordle gallery to share with your friends.
