What is a Configuration Item?
Every inventory asset discovered by Cloudaware is considered a configuration item (CI). For example, AWS EC2, Azure VM, GCE instance, and every related load balancer, network interface, storage bucket, and more. It doesn't matter how many attributes a CI has.
Deleted infrastructure terminated as part of the rehydration process does not count towards Cloudaware CI usage once it has disappeared from the cloud provider system.
